Mike Budenholzer named Hawks President

Mike BudenholzerThe Atlanta Hawks have announced that head coach, Mike Budenholzer, has been promoted to team president.  Atlanta has also replaced former general manager, Danny Ferry, with former assistant general manager, Wes Wilcox.  Budenholzer was named NBA coach of the year last season after helping to lead the Hawks to the best record in franchise history with 60 wins.  Mike Budenholzer had spent the previous 18 seasons as an assistant coach with the San Antonio Spurs.  This latest move in Atlanta will give Budenholzer more power and give him the last say-so in putting together the Hawks roster.
